Glass Sculptures by Jan Cerny available October 10, 2017 13:53
Back in the day, Anton C. Kusak Jr. came across an up and coming glass sculpture artist, Jan Cerny. "Tony" wanted to have a unique, one of a kind, beautiful sculpture to sell in Seattle at Kusak's.
Kusak's currently has MANY of his outstanding pieces of work in our building! We are featuring them at 25% off as we feel as they should be shown off and enjoyed!
Glass sculptures are made by means of an unusual technological process. A sculpture is fundamentally created from a sculptural model, then a negative mold is made in which the glass is melted. Each individual sculpture is a unique product and a new mold is made for every piece.

Throwback Thursday: 1922 Kusak Crystal & Glass Sale @ Seattle's Pier 66 March 26, 2015 08:42
With only 3 days left in our Once in 100 Years Crystal and Glass Vintage Sale we thought it would be fun to visit one of the earliest documented sales in our history.
The photo below shows our founder, Anton C. Kusak I selling his hand-engraved crystal and glass at a trade show at Seattle's own Bell Street Pier 66 (now operated as a cruise terminal by Port of Seattle)
At the end of the show a thief stole all of the crystal samples! :S
But, thankfully many years later we happy to still be part of the Seattle community...
And, we are still going strong and our current sale will continue through Saturday, March 28, featuring:
- 1/3 off fine crystal chandeliers
- 15% off all showroom items (stemware, vases, crystal bowls, etc.)
- HUGE selection and discounts for one-of-a-kind and vintage glass pieces in our basement
We hope you enjoyed this brief glimpse into our company's great history - and that we will be able to share our world of fine crystal and glass with you soon!are
